A modular marine facility on driven piles — built for storm surge and zero harm to the reef.
Everything about this site is protected: coral, currents and nesting shoreline. So the entire station was prefabricated in modules, barged in, and set onto driven piles with a single crane barge — no dredging, no causeway, no concrete poured over water.
The deck sits 3.5 metres above chart datum for storm surge, and every service runs in accessible trays for salt-air maintenance. When the lease ends, the modules unbolt and the piles pull out — the reef keeps the site.
